Hello :)

Hello to everyone who read this post. This is my first attempt to place some words in blog, so please be merciful :). I believe I have to write something about me. My name is Petar Ivanov and I am from Bulgaria. I am founder of betsurf.org and I really hope you like it. I think that the database here is something that can help. I will post later some way that I use it.

I think I have to apologies about my poor English. I still learn the language and I hope to improve it, so it will not be problem. If you read a post with perfect English, this only means that my girlfriend has read and correct it 🙂

Betting is my hobby and I am trying to represent that in this web page. I bet from more than 14 years. I started when the first book company arrived in Bulgaria. I was 13 years old and my father and I put 5 Euro cents in three matches. Of course we did not win. But, from that moment betting is my hobby.

Like everybody my first four

Lokomotiv Mezdra – Minyor 1 3:1

In the beginning of the Bulgarian league Lokomotiv Mezdra was pointed as a potential surprise. However, this did not happen. Some financial problems and many injured players left the team on the 8th place in the table.

Two draws in a row for Lokomotiv in the second half of the season which contribute opposite feeling in their supporters. The home draw against Spartak Varna, which is bellow the line with really poor game for Lokomotiv and good draw away in the Bulgarian capital Sofia versus Slavia.

One key player will miss this game for Lokomotiv. This is former Bulgarian national player Predrag Pagin (on the picture). The defender will be out for a month. Another central defender Milko Makendziev will also miss this game, as well as the keeper Radostin Stanev.

Minyor started really great with good game against Lokomotiv Sofia despite the huge loss with 1:5. This was followed by the draw at home against one of the strongest team in Bulgaria Litex. The motivation is on highest level and they will come to Mezdra to gain some points.

However, I do not think this will happen. In championships like Bulgarian the home advantage takes huge part in the game. Lokomotiv has better players in the midfield and higher self-confidence. This will be enough for home win, which is with really good odds – 2.1.

Stoke – Manchester City 1:0

Which team is in the bottom of the table, but has lost only once for the last 7 home games, including three of the big four? The correct answer is Stoke. They face Manchester City today at Britannia Stadium. Stoke held Liverpool for 0:0, lost against Manchester United with 0:1 and won against Arsenal with 2:1 in the last 7 games. There are also 2 draws and two wins in this sequence. But, Stoke has not won in the last 9 games even the good form they have shown in some of the matches.

However, now at Britannia Stadium arrive City with two wins in a row and three in the last four games. “We can cause problems in different ways with our movement and technical ability so we’re hopeful we can cause Stoke problems, and get on the track of winning away games in the league.” said Mark Hughes for BBC and I do believe City will do problems for Stoke today.

When I saw the odds 2.2 for away win I realized this coefficient can not be missed. Even if it not successful it would be good punter’s bet.

Derby – Nottingham 2

I have always believe that the manager is almost everything in a football club. So, in this match we have the name of Billy Davies, who did his best at Derby and now he is doing his best for Forest. For the first 23 days of his career in Nottingham he has two wins in a row.

Which is most important Billy Davies is a man who knows everything about Derby. He knows their weaknesses and he know how to use them.

Derby is with 3 loses on row and with only one win in the last 10 Championship matches. Those facts makes the coefficient of 3 for Nottingham win very attractive to me. At least, I see that Forest has more than 40% chance to win today.

Newcastle – Central Coast 1:2

The tradition rules. Those words could be yours when you look at this game. In the last four seasons this two teams has played 16 matches. 13 of them finished under 2.5 goals or with other words 81.25%. This percent is good enough with odds of 1.9.

However, we have to take a look at the stats of this year.

Newcastle scores 1.375 goals per home match and concedes 1.25 goals per home match. Central Coast scores and concedes 1.75 goals per away match. This is a bit disturbing, but “The tradition rules”, so I bet here under for 1.9 coefficient.

Blackburn – Stoke

Will the Big Sam do the same for Blackburn as Harry Redknapp did for Tottenham? I think, yes! At least, in the first match, where Blackburn hosts Stoke at Ewood Park.

Sam Allardyce have full and healthy squad, but the main problem in Blackburn is the motivation. I think, the Big Sam is the right man who can change this.

“We have to get the players performing to their maximum as quickly as possible. I believe the players that we have will be good enough to get out of trouble.”, said Allardyce for BBC.

According to BBC three Stoke players will miss the match and one is doubtful. The players are Mama Sidibe (knee) and Leon Cort (groin) are out, while Liam Lawrence (knee) is not match fit and Dave Kitson (knee) faces a fitness test.

So, a home win here for 1.72.

Tottenham – Sp. Moscow

A draw will be enough for Tottenham to go through the group stage in UEFA Cup. Even more, only a heavy defeat to Spartak combined with a comfortable victory over group leaders Udinese by NEC would see the hosts fail to qualify from the group stages.

Harry Redknapp has a lot of problems as Jonathan Woodgate, Ledley King, Giovani dos Santos, Jermaine Jenas and Alan Hutton are all sidelined through injury and Darren Bent has tonsilitis. Roman Pavlyuchenko and Vedran Corluka are also out as they are cup-tied, with Fraizer Campbell the only fit striker. The information is taken by BBC.

Only two Spartak’s players will miss the match. Ivanov and Rodriguez stayed in Moscow, recovering from their injuries and Michael Laudrup will have the ability to build a strong team for tonight. Spartak has played some friendlies recently. The last one with Chelsea second team, so the team is in good form, nevertheless the Russian championship has ended three weeks ago.

Redknapp has hinted that John Bostock and Dean Parrett – 16 and 17-years-old respectively – will play some part in the match.

When I combine the facts that Redknapp has underestimated this match with the idea Tottenham has 99% chance to continue and Laudrup has his team at it’s best I will pick away win with +0.5 for Spartak. The odds are 1.98.

Stoke – Derby

Is it possible the third best team at home in Premier League to take something different from a win against the 15th in Championship? I do not think so.

I have to add the fact that the 15th in Championship will be without five players: Dean Leacock (groin), Claude Davis (hamstring) and Martin Albrechtsen (calf) and cup-tied Luke Varney and Nacer Barazite. I will also add that the manager of the Championship team said for BBC: “It’s a game we’re looking forward to but it’s going to be a tough test for us.”.

So, the match is between Stoke and Derby and it is ? final for Carling Cup and the stake for Stoke 1.7 is quite good.

Detroit – Portland

When I watch Detroit for the last time, they played so badly that I simply turned my TV to a music channel. It was the match against Boston and I have played it over than 183 points. It was so painful to watch how they missed a shot, then another one, then another one and finally lost with 5 points under my pick.

Now, I will bet over again, but this time against Portland and this time, the thin red line is 186 points. Will they make it? I think, yes.

Iverson played a bit better against Milwaukee scoring 17, even though he came from the bench. Another 5 players made more than 9 points for Detroit in the last match and they scored more than 185 in the last 3 matches.

A few things about Portland. When Brandon Roy is on the pitch, it means many points. In the first 14 games for Portland 9 of them were over. Now, they are coming to Detroit with 4 games under in a row and I think today the line will be crossed.

Last 3 Portland’s away matches are over 186 points, so this is enough for me to put my money for an over here.

Houston – Denver

I think Denver and Houston will make more than 193 points and there are four reasons for that.

The first is Houston’s firepower. When Tracy McGrady went off the pitch few days ago, no one expected Houston would keep the firepower, but it happened. Luther Head who replaced him scored his season best 21 points against San Antonio yesterday. Ron Artest added 16 and another 5 players made over ten points against Tim Duncan and co for 103:84 win at home.

Now, against them is standing Denver that held an opponent under 100 points just one time in the last four games.

The second reason is the firepower of Denver’s players. Chauncey Billups is on fire and he made season’s best 27 points for 3 quarters against Minnesota yesterday. Carmelo added 25 and Denver won 106:97.

The third reason is the statistic. Denver made over 193 in 3 of last four home games, Houston made over 193 in their last three games away. Even more, all the 4 games last season between those two ended with more than 190 points, but here I have to remind that Iverson played for Denver in last season.

The fourth and the last reason to play this match an over 193 is that I cannot see who will stop Yao tonight.
