Watch NBA matches online for free

Great news came today from bet365. As of today, they offer the possibility to watch NBA matches live from their platform for live betting. I already managed to watch the two NBA matches – LA Clippers versus Sacramento and Miami versus Orlando.

So, the main question, how can you watch basketball from NBA live in bet365? Note that the service is free, but the bookmaker requires you to have an account with them and to have some cash in it . If these conditions are not met, the section doesn’t load.
So, if you have an account at bet365 and at least some money in it, just go to the section for live betting and select the game you want to watch online. It will be opened a panel, which starts the video and you can watch the desired match. It is important to know that you are not pushed in any way to bet on this match. You can watch as many matches as you want without making a single bet.

The only downside of this offer is that bet365 have left a very small window through which to watch the match. I suppose they have done it in that way with the idea the user to be able to monitor the odds for the match and while you watch basketball online to be tempted to place a bet.

However, everything comes with a price and in this case, it is the small size panel and the running odds around us. However the audio is original which makes the atmosphere exciting enough. Enjoy watching!

The NBA season so far in numbers

The NBA season is on its 20th round and it seems now is the time to make the first analyzes of how the teams are playing this season. Without any doubt, the most impressive thing so far in NBA is Lakers’ extremely poor performance. Whit their players they should be competing for the first place, but with Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Steve Nash on the list, they are below the 50 percent mark.

One of the most popular betting option for basketball matches is betting on under and over total scored points by both teams. What the statistics show about teams performances with this score line?

Here are all the results of basketball matches, played so far. In the first column are the teams. Then there are two columns with the number of matches completed with under and over. The last two columns are respectively for the percentages of matches completed under and over:

Отбори U O % %
Boston 10 10 50 50
Brooklyn 12 8 60 40
New York 7 12 37 63
Philadelphia 9 12 43 57
Toronto 10 11 48 52
Dallas 9 11 45 55
Houston 8 12 40 60
Memphis 9 8 53 47
New Orleans 10 11 48 52
San Antonio 8 13 38 62
Chicago 14 6 70 30
Cleveland 11 10 52 48
Detroit 12 9 57 43
Indiana 12 9 57 43
Milwaukee 10 8 56 44
Denver 9 12 43 57
Minnesota 9 9 50 50
Portland 10 10 50 50
Oklahoma 10 11 48 52
Utah 10 11 48 52
Atlanta 9 9 50 50
Charlotte 8 11 42 58
Miami 9 10 47 53
Orlando 11 8 58 42
Washington 7 11 39 61
Golden State 7 14 33 67
LA Clippers 9 11 45 55
LA Lakers 9 12 43 57
Phoenix 9 11 45 55
Sacramento 10 11 48 52

What is most remarkable in the table above is the fact that the vast majority of the teams are near to the 50 percent. This is completely normal for NBA under – over betting. Usually from 30 teams in the league 22-25 finish close to 50%.

What make an impression though are three teams that are clearly distinguished from the rest. These are Chicago, Golden State and New York.

Clearly, Chicago for one or another reason is overrated by bookmakers offering bets for NBA matches. That’s why we have such a large percentage of matches that end with an under. The opposite can be said for Golden State, but this could be influenced by the time of the season we are now. Usually, in the beginning of the season the bookmakers give very low rates for under and over betting for total scored points. Probably this is the explanation for the Golden State’s high percentage of over ended matches.

There is an interesting thing that I saw in the last few seasons in NBA. It is that if a team is above 60% in this table after the first 20 matches it finished the season with the same percentage. It will be interesting to see will it happen again this season.

Really important news for Hotmatches

This must be read from all people who follow my football tips at betsurf soccer hotmatches. It seems that the hotmatches has serious problem, which can lead to really strange and may be bad results.

As you can see the start this time wasn’t good at all and I started to investigate why. The reason is really simple.

For my soccer hotmatches I use my soccer database. In this database I have collected around 8000 matches and their results, grouped in sectors by the odds given from bookies for the favourite in the match.

For the odds I use average odds from different bookies given by betexplorer.com. They use to give average odds from a particular group of bookmakers, which group is being changed those days. Of course this means that I will get different results from this different group of bookies.

I will continue with my picks, but I will use small bank, just for experience. Right now I have started to fill another sheet of my database, where I use the odds only by one bookmaker, so this problem will not occur soon.

However, my new database will not be ready at least for two mounts.

Finally 20% profit in hotmaches

I used more time and matches than I planned before, but I made it. I made 20% profit in football betting, 22% actually. Now it is time to cash and another sequence.

I needed 41 days and 71 matches for doing that.

Crossing fingers this time the period to be shortened.

Who is the most overestimated team in NBA?

You know there is margin given by the bookies in every match in NBA. The idea of this margin is to make chances for both teams for winning the game even. I think here is a possibility for making money, cos not the players of the pitch decide who will win, but the house.

Here is a table about this margin in NBA, where you can see that some teams, like Lakers are really overestimated, but some teams like Atlanta are on opposition of that.

Here is the table:

Teams W L % %
Boston 16 21 43 57
New Jersey 13 26 33 67
New York 19 20 49 51

Another profitable hotmaches sequence

Yesterday I decided that my goal in betting must be 20% pure profit. That means I will have to start another series of hotmatches betting, because after 52 matches the profit was above 30%.

So, the new sequence of matches begins today. Crossing fingers for another profitable one.

Bet on underdog at home in NBA – Don’t!

I read something about that way of betting which would be really profitable. The idea is simple where the underdog play at home bet for it and the margin that the bookies give.

Like most of those betting strategies this one doesn’t work or at least it does not work with NBA betting.

Here is my paper sheet with the first 100 matches where the underdog played at home. The ROI is 69.1% so I would lose 1/3 of my bank if I have been betting on that idea.

I started with 30 units and 3% of the bank for every bet.

200% ROI from Betsurf football hotmaches

The new football database is really good I think. The first sequence gave 200% ROI just for 20 days. Of course, here I must say I used a small bank and 10% of it for every single bet. However, those 54% successful bets with average odds of about 2,2 is cool enough to make me feel good.

Now, I’ll start with bigger bank and 5% of it on every bet. Let’s see what will happen. The first matches is tonight.

The punter starts making tips and fortunately the profit is rising, but there is a moment when all of this is not enough anymore. After a period of money increasing everything goes back and even below the bank the punter started with.

Mortal Kombat – final results

I had too much work this days and I totally forgot to write about our contest. I was reminded by my friend Sybin who called me few minutes ago and said: “Hey, aren’t you going to write about my victory?”. Yes, he got his point and he beat my girlfriend and even beat me, which is not good at all.

Here, I must say that he made good performance with 10 points and 120% ROI if he bet on every single match. Another thing I should underline here, is my opinion which is not less strong than before that Petya has talent. If, the matches finished until 75th minute she would won, but unfortunately her picks gone wrong after this period of match time.

However, if she wants I will try her ability again, cos I really believe in her. She got 5 correct picks in a row before this weekend, after all.
