Europa League Stuttgart vs Molde

The season for the champion of Norway Molde is almost over and the match against Stuttgart will be their last before the long pause before the next season. Molde has no chance to move forward in the Europa League, which Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would hardly like. However, the team doubles the title at the local championship, which was the most important goal for the team.

Stuttgart’s chances to qualify for eliminations in Europa League are excellent, as the Germans are currently second in the group and a win here would qualify them for sure. If Steaua wins or draws the match away to Copenhagen, the Stuttgart will go ahead, no matter how the game with Molde finish.

For me there is no doubt that Stuttgart is the favorite in this game and their chances for a win are more than good. However, the important question is whether they are as strong as offers their odds of 1.16. I don’t think so.

Molde is a very good team that grabbed for the second time the title in Norway. Two miserable losses at home against Steaua Bucharest and Copenhagen predetermined their last place in the group, but it should be taken in mind that both games were during the most important games for Molde in Norway. Now the league is over and Solskjaer ‘s players can focus completely on the game against Stuttgart.

Furthermore, Molde made his only victory so far in the league against Stuttgart with 2:0 on October 4th. These two teams played against each other two seasons ago. The matches ended drawn 2:2 in Germany and 2:3 to Stuttgart in Molde.

Just for this reason, I think that a bet for a Molde win with margin of 2 goals in Asian Handicap with odds of 1.9 is more than secure. If Stuttgart wins by one goal, which is the most likely outcome, the bet will be a winner. If they win with two goals the bet would be refunded.

CSKA – Dinamo Moskow 2

It is hard for me to bet against a Bulgarian team, but today it will happen. 2.5 coefficient for away team is a gift. A team for 39 000 000 euro against a team with players for may be 2 000 000 and for that we have 2.5 coefficient. This is enough for me to bet on it.

Another thing – the Russian championship is about to finish, but Bulgarian has only two games played.

CSKA has a coach with no experience at all and Penev proved it on the first two matches in Europe League where they beat difficulty Derry from Ireland with 2:0 at home with goals after 70th minute and 1:1 away.

2.5 coefficient is not something to be missed.

Honka FC – Garabag-Azersun Agdam Under 2.5

Azerbaijan’s FC Garabag is going to be my favorite club for betting in Europe League. There is no other team to play so successfully in defense as Garabag. Yes, they have proved it only in two games so far, but at least they are 100% predictable.

Honka also are team which matches mainly finish under 2.5 goals. They qualified for the second round with two wins against Bangor. The first match ended 1:0 and the second 2:0. In Finland they are a bit more sharp, with almost 2 goals made average per game.

I think Garabag will not change their successful tactic – to play with 9 man on defense. A tactic which have proved to be right against RBK, where the Norwegians had no more than 5 goal opportunities for two matches.

The odds for under here are 1.8.

FC Copenhagen – Stabaek 1

A tip here for really small odds, but with lot of arguments behind it. The first one is of course the players. There is no doubt that FC Copenhagen is better on that side. Stabaek has lot of financial troubles led to some of their best players out of the club recently. On the other side FC Copenhagen is the best Scandinavian club, something that is admit even by Stabaek’s players.

Something other that must be considered before betting on that match is the name of Copenhagen head coach. The Norwegian St?le Solbakken knows exactly what to do to win against a Norwegian club as Stabaek.

Stabaek is a bit better in their championship is already started, but I’m sure Copenhagen’s players are in their best form exactly for Champions League matches.

So, a home win here for 1.5 coefficient

Garabag-Azersun Agdam – Rosenborg Under 2.5

As much as I read about this match I think it is going to be under 2.5 goals. The main reason is Rosenborg’s inability to score when they play against heavy defense. The players from Azerbaijan showed they can play in that style at “Lerkendal”.

As I read the review from the match in the first half none of the teams had a single opportunity for goal. On the second half RBK was much better, but again they haven’t been sharp enough.

I think that Garabag players are so stupid to try to overplay RBK and they will play with the same manner. With ten defenders and we already saw what happened.

Both teams haven’t squad problem. Rosenborg only concern is about weather. It is about 30 degrees there with really heavy wind, which make the ball unpredictable. The host will try to succeed with their tactic and 30 000 fans on the National Stadium.

So an under 2.5 goals here for 2.3 coefficient.

Naftan vs AA Gent 1X

I’ve read in several forums that this match is a sure away win. I don’t find a reason why this will happen. The Belorussian football is going higher with BATE Borisov ahead and I am sure the others will follow them. Right now Naftan is the team that followed them. They are on second place in the table with 3 straight wins and just one loss at home from six matches – from BATE Borisov.

The Belorussian championship is on its 13th round, as well as the Belgium haven’t started yet. This is another argument in Naftan’s hand.

Gent made some great friendlies with win 2:0 against Twente, but this is not something that will convince me.

This match will be interesting to follow with last year win that BATE Borisov made upon Anderlecht on their way to the Champions League. Why not Naftan repeat this win.

However I am on a bad row this week and I will secure myself with Asian Handy cap +0.5 for Naftan for 1.8 coefficient.

Tottenham – Sp. Moscow

A draw will be enough for Tottenham to go through the group stage in UEFA Cup. Even more, only a heavy defeat to Spartak combined with a comfortable victory over group leaders Udinese by NEC would see the hosts fail to qualify from the group stages.

Harry Redknapp has a lot of problems as Jonathan Woodgate, Ledley King, Giovani dos Santos, Jermaine Jenas and Alan Hutton are all sidelined through injury and Darren Bent has tonsilitis. Roman Pavlyuchenko and Vedran Corluka are also out as they are cup-tied, with Fraizer Campbell the only fit striker. The information is taken by BBC.

Only two Spartak’s players will miss the match. Ivanov and Rodriguez stayed in Moscow, recovering from their injuries and Michael Laudrup will have the ability to build a strong team for tonight. Spartak has played some friendlies recently. The last one with Chelsea second team, so the team is in good form, nevertheless the Russian championship has ended three weeks ago.

Redknapp has hinted that John Bostock and Dean Parrett – 16 and 17-years-old respectively – will play some part in the match.

When I combine the facts that Redknapp has underestimated this match with the idea Tottenham has 99% chance to continue and Laudrup has his team at it’s best I will pick away win with +0.5 for Spartak. The odds are 1.98.

Partizan – Standart

Partizan and Standart Liege will play tonight in a really important game. If Partizan could not take the win they have to say goodbye to UEFA Cup this year, after two loses in their two opening matches. Standart is in better position after an impressive win against Sevilla with 1:0 at home.

Of course, in such important game the defense is everything and both teams will think first not to concede a goal, the attack will be on second place.

Nevertheless, I think here both teams will score a goal. Why? First of all the Partizan’s defense is really awful. They made so many terrible mistakes against Stuttgart, when the pressure wasn’t over their heads, that it is hard to imagine what will happen when every single mistake could be fatal.

At the other hand the Partizan’s offense really impress me, so i believe they will score tonight.

What can we say about Standart? They are coming to Belgrade with high spirit and with idea that they can win against everyone. I believe this is enough for a single goal or two. Of course, keep an eye on Milan Jovanovic – the best striker for Standart. He knows how to score at Partizan’s stadium. Just a week ago he scored two here for Serbia against Bulgaria.

So, poor defense and excellent strikers is enough for both teams to score for 1.75 coefficient.
