A new look into the game
An interesting approach about betting occurred into my mind those days. I was away on travel, but I though a bit for betting. So, the point is for patterns in betting. I’m asking myself: “Is it possible bookies to have on their sheets we will make 23% underdog wins on 3.2 coefficient this year?”.
Sounds a it silly, but who knows.
However, I am checking now first 8 rounds in Finnish 1st Veiskkauliiga and there are some interesting patterns.

Kimi to win – now or never!
Few weeks ago I wrote in my sport betting blog that I will put some money on Kimi Raikkonen’s win in the next 10 races in Formula One. I bet yesterday on 21 coefficient for Kimi and I was pretty satisfied to wake up today and to see that he is on 2 pole.
So it is now or never. It will be extremly difficult for everyone to drive in Monaco and if Ferrari succeed with stops tactic I may catch those pretty good 1050% ROI.
Crossing fingers really hard, because soccer today is not the best sport for me. May be F1 will make it equal.

Money management on betting. Probably the most important thing in the game!
Money management is one of the most important things in betting. Some punters say that it is the most important and even a weak player could gain some profit in correct way of using its money. I have read lot of posts about money management and I have tried some of them. I have also tried me own ideas, but with all this years of experience right now I use only one system I found in a betting book called Betting winner.
I do not have a link to that book, but I am sure if some of you were interested you would find it. Here is what is said for money management and what I do.
No matter what kind of system is used the bankroll is divided into four equal blocks. The punter is playing only with one of the blocks and use it as his own bankroll. The other three are for protection. Here is an example. You have 100 units, so you will play with 25 of them. You percentage for every bet will be count on those 25%.
If you win another 25% then you calculated again your blocks and divide them to four parts. So right now you will play with 31.25 units. The same would happen of you lose all your money. You would play with 18.75 units.
However I like to play with 3% of my bank on every bet, with increasing or decreasing of the bank. But I have my lower border

To bet on underdog draws using Betsurf database
I was too excited yesterday, but unfortunately I had to cool my head and to see the reality. The first 11 days of April showed ROI better than 120%, when I checked the system I wrote about yesterday. The result for the whole month are not so good with ROI 98.9%.
However, the system is interesting and I will continue on a paper sheet to see what will happen.
I will follow those matches using pure draw system and Asian handicap for the underdog. 3% of the bank will be used for every bet. Crossing fingers.

To make profit from soccer draws
I really think that I found something interesting for betting on draw games, using my soccer database. It is a funny story, because I searched for something else, which happened to be completely wrong, but at the end it was a happy end. Here is the story.
Until now, I use my soccer database searching for profit on betting for favorites. You can see the result in my section soccer hotmatches. The system is simple. When, I find a match where the odds for the favorite are better than the percents in my soccer database I bet on that team.
Yesterday, I decided to turn the page and to start searching for some profit betting on underdogs, using the same system. I checked the first eleven days of April and I found about 50 matches, then I checked the results. The ROI of betting on underdogs was really poor. Just 71%, but the draws in those matches was profitable.19 draws from 49 matches and 122.1% ROI.
I was even more amazed when I checked the results from yesterday. I found 11 matches that the soccer database shows as profitable underdogs and from those 11 matches

Isn’t it the best moment to bet in Formula One?
Recently, I think lot of betting in Formula 1. You all know that right now the situation there is very complicated. The big guns like Mclaren and Ferrari are struggling and the newest team in F1 Brawn GP has the best car. Jason Button is leading with 31 points, 12 ahead from his partner Rubens Barrichello. On opposite drivers like Raikkonen are with 3 points, Hamilton with 9, Massa with 0 and all of them are far back in the standings. I am asking myself isn’t it the best moment to bet for them, right now?
I can not imagine a year with zero wins for Raikkonen or Massa. Hamilton too. Is it possible the world champion to finish without a single victory in the next season? I do not think so!
There is something more. Brawn GP surprised everybody with the new technology which has been showed in the first few races. But now the money problem for Brawn is getting bigger and bigger. Something more, bigger teams have already stolen what is best from Brawn’s technology and they will use it in next few races.
What about the odds. 15 is the coefficient for Raikkonen to win the next race. 17 is the coefficient for Massa and 9 for Hamilton. What I think to do? I will pick Raikkonen as my favorite driver, I will put some money and I will start to bet for him to win a race. 10% of the bank for every race and then I will sit a front of my TV and I will start to pray for Ferrari and Kimi. We will see what will happen.

To bet for draws in Spanish handball league
If I wrote this post at the end of February I would say that it is a golden mine. Until than to bet for draws in Spanish handball league was really profitable. Unfortunately March and April was not so good with just one draw. Here are the stats. At 28th of February the ROI for a punter who bet every single game in that championship would be 122.3%, which is not bad at all. Right now the ROI is just 87%.
However, this season we can see something really incredible and this is Darien Logrono with 8 draws. This is really huge profit for everyone who had bed for draw on this team. The ROI would be around 300%.
What about past seasons. In 2007/2008 season the draws were 20 and the ROI was only 90.8%. In this season two teams would give profit and those teams are Caja Espana and Octavio with 6 draws.
In 2006/2007 season the draws were 23 and the ROI was 113.6% which is good and the most profitable team was Torrevieja with 6 draws.
What about the season before. The draws are 21 and the ROI was 94.4%.
So, what can I say for conclusion? To bet for draws in Spanish handball league can be profitable, but it needs some research. It is easy to see that the draws are always about 20 and a bit more. Could it be used? I think yes. I will follow them next year and I will hope to guess the pattern.
